
Kevin Naranjo, from Santa Clara Pueblo, is the son of noted miniaturist, Geri Naranjo. He has exhibited at Indian Market since 1994. In 1996 he was awarded a first prize in non-traditional pottery, sgraffito style without stones, black or black two-tone, and a first and a third prize in miniature pottery, sgraffito, all other, at the Indian Market in Santa Fe. In 1998 he was awarded a first prize in miniature pottery, sgraffito, all other, also at Indian Market.
The finely carved sgraffito seedpot shown above is 1 1/2 inches in diameter and 2 inches tall. The price is $390.
